SILEBY CHRISTMAS LIGHT SWITCH ON - MARTIN'S WALK

We hope you enjoyed the Remembrance lights and display in Martins Walk , a befitting tribute to all of those who have served our country in times of war and especially to those who gave their lives.

Although it is still early November, our contractors will soon be busy preparing for the next big event. An event we know that nearly everyone likes to join in and celebrate. Yes, Christmas! This year, the big Christmas lights switch on is on Friday November 29th from 5.30pm with the lights being switched on at around 6.30pm. As usual, we will have children from the village schools entertaining us with festive tunes along with all the fun of the fair, local food and other entertainments.

Every year we try to find someone special to switch on the lights, someone who makes a difference in our community and this year is no exception. Our guests this year work year round to make a difference to us all, they improve our quality of life on a daily basis without any of us realising how they do it.
